The ultimate British cultural experience Hostlink UK brings over 15 years experience in placing overseas guests who are studying and working in  Bicester, Oxford and Reading with welcoming local hosts (family / individual). 

We provide a quick, professional and problem free experience of finding a suitable, well matched, local host family in Berkshire or Oxfordshire whether you are studying or working in the area.

We believe that an enjoyable homestay means a memorable immersive experience for our students, and we strive for quality which is instilled into processesand delivered by all our hosts.

We can also offer residential / apartmentsfor individual students and groups who require more independent or alternative accommodation with a private bathroom.

Types of Stay  for the over 18's (Individuals)

1) Short stays (4 - 14 weeks)

  • For busy students and interns on short courses/ work assignments
  • Best value for money with meals included
  • Homestay support and English Practice 24/7
 Homestay Options :
  • Room Type: Standard / Superior Decor
  • Meal Plan: Popular Breakfast & Dinner / Breakfast only *
  • Bathroom facilities: Shared

*Breakfast Only: available for those who are not wanting / require an evening meal and prefer to eat out. Or cook light snacks/  dinner use of  oven / microwave  only.

2) Long Stays (14 weeks - 30 weeks (6 months)

  • For more independent living for  long study / work stays up to 30 weeks / 6 months (6 to 11 months by agreement)
  • Some homestay support and English Practice
  • Rooms with or without meals 
Homestay Options :
  • Room Type: Standard / Superior
  • Meal Plan: Popular Breakfast and Dinner / Breakfast only * / Room only**
  • Bathroom facilities: Shared or Private (subject to availability)

*Breakfast Only: available for those who are not wanting / require an evening meal and prefer to eat out. Or cook light snacks/  dinner use of  oven / microwave  only.

**Room Only : a room in a homestay or shared house with self- catering meals(cooking for yourself)

  • easy access of the city centre in  good residential areas in houses and sometimes apartments with good transport links 
  • Shared bathroom facilities
  • Approximately  30-mins  to / from the town centre by public transport. 
  • Twin room / double rooms are available if you are with a friend or partner. 
  • A table or study desk included (or in alternative  area of home) .
  • Some homestays have lovely big rooms and inviting gardens. Others are quite simple.

Superior Rooms:

  • offer sophisticated accommodation and extra comfort, decorated to a high superior standard some with a TV in the room and some with the additional benefit of a private bathroom (extra supplement). This will be either in houses or apartments.
  • Approximately 15-20 mins to town centre. More suited to mature students /professionals. 
  • Twin / double rooms are available and the homes are very inviting with shared / your own private bathroom.
  • Guests enjoy excellent meals and professional hosts with interesting conversations.
